Mitchell says, “there are steroids in baseball”
Thank you Captain Obvious.
Major League Baseball spent 20 million dollars on the Mitchell report which did nothing more than give us 400 pages of complete conjecture and relied on the word of two scumbags trying to keep out of jail.
Great job. For 20 million dollars you might have thought that something other than he said, she said would have been found. The best evidence that Mitchell could find was personal checks written to clubhouse boys for what looks to be steroids but there is really no way to tell.
If I were a baseball player in this whole thing and I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it couldn’t be proved that I did anything; I would sue MLB for libel so quick that it would make Bud Selig’s head spin.
We all know what the score is. Baseball has been loaded with roids and HGH since before Mark McGuire broke Roger Maris’ single-season home run record and Barry Bonds broke Hank Aaron’s career home run record. Jose Canseco pointed the finger at baseball and it’s owners for knowing it was going on and not doing anything about it and idiot though he is, Canseco was right.
Congrats to MLB, you just spent 20 million on a high school research project. Hope you get the grade that you wanted.
