At Least One of the Underdogs Came to Play
One thing about it, if West Virginia loses tonight they will have already put up more of a fight than Hawaii or Illinois did last night. Currently, in the third quarter of the Fiesta Bowl, the Mountaineers lead the Oklahoma Sooners by a score of 20-9. Obviously West Virginia knows that the best payback for a traitor coach is to win without him and hit him in the ego. You know that there is a piece of Rich Rodriguez that wanted West Virginia to get blown out by about forty while he smiled smugly and thought to himself about how they were nothing without him. And in the meantime don’t you think that Oklahoma is starting to grip a little, scared to death of once again taking the slingshot to the head. Back-to-back defeats in bowl games to Boise State and West Virginia, might make even Toby Keith a little less proud to be an Okie.
