About Damn Time! Art Monk Going To Hall Of Fame
One of the biggest travesties of the NFL Hall of Fame has been fixed with the inclusion of Redskins’ legend Art Monk in the NFL Hall of Fame.
Joining Monk will be: Andre Tippett, Gary Zimmerman, Fred Dean and Darrell Green.
When Monk retired was he the first to have over 900 receptions, and had the single season receptions record (106) and the record for most consecutive games with a catch (183). He was also named to the NFL All-Decade Team for the 1980s. So it is ridicoli that it has taken this long for Monk to get into the Hall of Fame. This would be like me being left out the Player’s Hall of Fame. It wouldn’t be right and I’m sure there would be a huge grassroots movement to ensure my inclusion. Especially by the ladies. Oh yeah, the ladies.
