Reggie Bush Will Shoot Your A**
According to the Sporting News; lawyers for the sports marketer who is suing Reggie Bush believe that Reggie is attempting to intimidate them. How, you might ask? By having his bodyguard flash his gun at them, that’s how. According to the article:
A lawyer for a sports marketer who is suing football star Reggie Bush said he and his client walked out of a deposition Tuesday after a bodyguard for Bush’s attorney opened his jacket to expose a pistol.
Bush’s lawyers were noticeably upset by the gunshow:
“It’s outrageous that he shows up strapped for a deposition,” Watkins said. “That’s outrageous conduct in the lawyer world. Come on, we’re lawyers. I don’t threaten people, I sue them.”
That’s a great quote,”Outrageous conduct in the lawyer world”. Sorry, but a bodyguard for a sports star flashing his piece doesn’t qualify as outrageous even in lawyer land. Now if the bodyguard had flashed a copy of A Tale of Two Cities, Oliver Twist, or Great Expectations, that would have been outrageous behavior. Or if Reggie’s gal-pal Kim K. had shown up naked; covered in apple butter, singing “Camptown Ladies”; that would have been outrageous behavior.
A sports star with a gun close to him is far too normal for me to consider it outrageous. Hell, they should be grateful that at least Reggie was letting someone else tote the heat for him. But maybe he has to because of his eyesight problem. You know; the one that kept him from barely seeing the end-zone this year. Waka-waka-waka.
