3-What Mark Prior is.
According to FoxSports, Padres pitcher Mark Prior is raring and ready to go and expects to make a big contribution to the Padres:
“It felt good,” Prior said. “I felt pretty comfortable on the mound. I was able to focus more on some spots than mechanics and arm.”
How mad do you think Cubs fans would be if Prior was to win 20 games this year. True, the chances of this happening depend on whether or not he is able to avoid hangnails, stubbed toes, erectile dysfunction, or any of the other myriad of injuries that could possibly put Prior back on the DL for the season. My guess is that since he’s inspired, he might make it to the All-Star Break before he gets hurt. I don’t know about that for sure though, if someone sneezes in Greenland, Prior could catch pneumonia.
