Did Brent Musburger Just Say That?
I’m watching the Indiana/Purdue game, not because I like college basketball, but because I like torture and this game is pretty close to it.
But the thing is, Brent Musburger has spent much of the game giving Kelvin Sampson some lovin and talking about how he deserves a chance to explain himself, and shouldn’t be fired, going as far as to say this, and I paraphrase because I was half-napping:
“We don’t want a repeat of what happened at Duke (with the lacrosse alleged rape incident) let’s let the facts get in.”
I agree in letting the facts come in, but I don’t know that one can compare alleged recruiting violations to alleged rape. But whatever floats your boat Brent. As the game ended Musburger remarked that he “hoped to see Sampson on the bench” at the next Indiana game. Way to be impartial Brent.
