Eddy Curry The Latest To Think That Isiah Thomas Is Clueless
Apparently, being a player that sucks, on a team that sucks, and playing for a coach that sucks; can really get questioning himself. But not Eddy Curry, who thinks that he can be a 20 and 10 guy and wonders why Knicks coach Isiah Thomas isn’t playing him more. According to The New York Times:
Curry said he was not looking to be traded and he would not raise a fuss over his role. But he still envisions himself as a 20-point, 10-rebound player, saying, “I’m just having a tough season right now.” He refuses to believe that the N.B.A. has become a small man’s game, or a 7-foot jump shooter’s game.
“But that’s my opinion; maybe that’s why I’m playing and not coaching,” Curry said, referring to Thomas, “because I don’t know as much as he knows. But I just don’t believe that.”
For starters, Eddy couldn’t average 20 and 10 if he was playing a team made up of munchkins and he was body-snatched by the spirit of Wilt Chamberlain. If that happened, he would probably lay Dorothy, Glinda, and the Wicked Witch of the West though.
As for Isiah knowing more that Curry? I wouldn’t want a gun put to my head while I had to wait on either one of them to correctly spell psychophysicotherapeutics…or cat for that matter.
