Randy Did Not Hit That Woman
According to FoxSports, the woman who accused Randy Moss of causing injury upon her person, has dropped charges against Moss, and has asked that a restraining order against Moss be dropped. According to the article:
Rachelle Washington, 35, filed papers March 3 with the Broward County Circuit Court clerk’s office requesting that the order be dissolved and the case closed. The restraining order had required the All-Pro wide receiver to stay at least 500 feet from Washington.
I’m not Randy Moss’ biggest fan, but this was fishy from the get. The timing of the accusation was weird, and there was never much information about what Moss did, or didn’t do. And for once, I actually believed Moss when he stood up and said, “I’ve never laid a hand on a woman”, and apparently, he hasn’t. He just hits them with his car. Sorry, too easy.

Who’s shocked here? I mean, really.

I’m not surprised by anything. It was just so strategically timed. Of course he could have done something and he might have slipped a little under the table to make it go away. But I just get the feeling that he didn’t break bad this time.
