T-Wolves Owner Calls KG a Loser.
Don’t you just love it when sh** owners, criticize great players? Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor, said that he thought that Kevin Garnett, “tanked” the last few games of his last season in Minnesota. When asked about whether the Wolves would be going on their annual “let’s tank and get a high draft pick” picnic, Taylor said that he felt that there was really only one player that quit last season:
Taylor said the columnist “said a little bit last year was that we sort of like tanked it. I don’t think that. I don’t like that so much. I don’t like that.
“It was more like KG tanked it. I think the other guys still wanted to play.”
But my favorite part was this:
“Why are we winning? We’re winning for [the players], but the other thing is I think we’re winning for the fans,” Taylor said. “I think we have to show the fans that, what I call it, there is a plan. That we’re going to improve next year. And you can see where we were and this is where we’re going and next year we’re going to be a better team.”
We did it for the people. Get excited T-Wolves fans! This guy thought enough of you to trade one of the top five players in the league; doesn’t that just warm the cockles of your heart? (Sound of the 30 or so remaining T-Wolves fans simultaneously pumping shotguns). Okay, okay forget I mentioned it.
