Danica Patrick won her first Indy Race on Saturday, winning the Indy Japan 300 after fuel economy issues with many of the other top drivers put her up front and she made the best of it, bringing home the first ever victory for a female driver.
Good job! Now Danica can relax with the knowledge that she has lifted a giant monkey off her back and has (for the time) silenced her naysayers. This also puts to rest claims that Danica is just a sex symbol. Now she’s a sex symbol that wins races.
