Showing that their trend to play down to their competition is not a figment of our imaginations, the Pistons squandered a 15-point lead and lost to the seventh-seeded Philadelphia 76ers, 90-86.
Don’t panic yet, Pistons fan, in all probability, this was a blip on the radar and your team will advance past the gritty sixers, but I’d not feel too great about their ability to beat the Celtics; who are in the process of sacrificing the Atlanta Hawks (seriously, the Hawks, I live in Tennessee and they black their games out here if that tells you anything), to the basketball gods, and barring a comeback that I’m not going to be awake for, will score a first-round victory.
