Site Of The Night-The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
It seems wrong to post this Site of the Night, after a post of Randy Moss partying it up, but that’s just the way it is this time. I followed the link to this story from SportsbyBrooks to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and the article ripped my heart up. The article is about John Challis, an 18-year old who is dying of cancer, and when put into a baseball game to pinch-hit, the 93-pound Challis, got a single, an RBI, and applause from the opposing team. If you’re like me, and you sometimes forget what sports are about, you need to read this story. It will move you. In some games, everyone does deserve a trophy.
Until next time,
Be peaceful.
