Kimbo Slice Beats James “Colossus” Thompson

And you got it.
Kimbo Slice beat James Thompson by stoppage, when he busted open Thompson’s already cauliflowered ear like a zit. The announcers claimed that the fight didn’t need to be stopped, and I have to credit Bleacher Report with one of the greatest sports-sentences of all time:
Slice then delivered one to Thompson’s cauliflowered ear, causing it to explode, and just seconds later, doctors stopped the fight, although the only damage to the ear was a little blood and pus dripping out.
Sorry folks, there is no such thing as a little bit of pus dripping out. If they hadn’t stopped this fight and it had gotten even nastier, that decision would have caused many who were watching to think that they were right all along, about the brutality of MMA. Good decision to stop it when they did. Of course the fans weren’t happy, they wanted to see a knockout. Hell, I want to see A-Rod hit a home run every time that he comes to the plate, but I don’t get that, so enjoy the fight, and be glad that your sport had a successful TV debut. I’m really interested to see what the ratings are going to be.

for those that think the sport is to violent, don’t watch. For the rest of us this was bullshit. I train with at least a half a dozen guys that could have beaten either one of these guys. Let’s face it folks, there were two tomato cans in this fight. The toughest guy was the ref.

if the cauliflowered ear ruptures it can cause total hearing loss int hat ear. Please do your research before you yell at the doctors that wanted to save a mans hearing. Ever see a def boxer? Think of it like getting clapped on your year ears your balance goes to hell. Before you start judging the fight getting stopped take a step back and think for a second why it was stopped.
is Kimbo is the next big bright star in mma is in question but the fight getting stopped was the right choice.

I train with two dozen guys that could beat Kimbo Slice, too… right… be sure to send us a post card when one of them does something noteworthy. Til then, respect the big man until given reason not to. Speculation means nothing.

Actually the outer ear is prone to infections, so antibiotics are usually prescribed. If the pressure is left alone without medical intervention, the ear can suffer very serious damage. Pressure can build up and eventually rupture the ear drum.
Not the rupture of the cauliflowered ear.
Maybe YOU need to do some research first and know what your talking about.
