Favre Says “It’s Just a Rumor”
So Brett’s family is sick of having him home, and are pushing him to go back and play football, and to leave them to do their own thing. Don’t think that this comeback is Brett’s idea. This is the wife’s influence all the way. My mom talked about this same thing when my dad retired, she was like, “one day he was just there all the time, and it completely disrupted my day. Plus, all he did was drink beer and watch TV. It took some adjusting”, so she hit him with a shovel and buried him in the backyard.
Favre gave a favrian response to this recent whirlwind of return rumors (try saying that fast five times):
“It’s all rumor,” he said of reports that he wants to return.
As for the ensuing media storm surrounding the story, Favre said in a text message to the newspaper: “No reason for it.”
Wait, I’m confused. Does this mean that people shouldn’t listen to rumors? Do you mean to tell me that I wasted all that time spreading rumors about girls I claimed to have sex with and no one really cares? Damn, if I’d of known that I wouldn’t have gone through the trouble of ruining their reps, and that one girl in the mental health clinic might still be a productive member of society. But, wait…if rumors aren’t a big deal then I have no reason to be guilty. So the heck with all of them.
