The good news:
He’s very tall. He’s under 35. Probably not going to have to wonder about him and Madonna doing the bump.
The bad news:
He’s Richie Sexson. The possible illegitimate brother of Dave Kingman.
The ugly news:
He’s batting .218. He just got kicked off the worst team in baseball.
The great news:
He’s hitting great against lefties, and he’s costing less than a membership to some of the finer New York Gentlemen’s clubs. Plus, he will probably replace Kyle Farnsworth as my least favorite Yankee.
Outlook: If this is what passes for key free agent acquisitions in Yankeeland now, someone wake me when Brian Cashman has been exiled to the Sahara Desert, or when Sexson becomes the starting forward for the Knicks.
