Welcome to Threestrikesandout.com! Just another sports blog, written by people who never played (past Little League anyways, I was a mean right fielder); criticizing and exalting those who do. The goal of this site is to have fun and sometimes (most of the time) poke fun at sports, the people who play them, and the people who take sports way too seriously. Sometimes we’ll be serious, and sometimes we will try to be funny. Sometimes we will succeed.

I make no apologies for my own biases. I am a Yankees fan and to a lesser extent a New York Giants fan. I am also a Tennessee Volunteer through and through, but I will try to keep those posts to my other site (www.legionsofthemiserable.com). Hopefully if you got this far you’ve liked what you’ve read, and even if you haven’t I thank you for taking the time to read it. And, I apologize in advance for pissing you off about whatever I said about your favorite team; just remember, I’m an equal-opportunity destroyer, and eventually. I’ll probably get around to making fun of that team that you hate; and then we’ll be able to share one big high-five over the Internet.

I will be sometimes joined in this escapade of sports vandalism by two long-time colleagues in crime who will be submitting their takes whenever time permits, but mainly it will be me, General Tsao, who will be bringing the pain early and often.
