So let us see what’s in the news today…The Tampa Bay Rays are in first place, and it’s not opening day.  That fact, is a harbinger that Death, Pestilence, War, and Famine will be coming to a town near you for a one-time, final performance of the End of the World.  Be ready.

In other news, the Yankees are in last place.  This comes as no shock to any of us over-demanding Yankees fans, who have gotten used to seeing this team among the cellar-dwellers in April and May.  This team is like Bea Arthur on a treadmill.  It takes a little while to get their old ass up on it, but eventually it gets going.  In honor of the ineptitude of the Yankees performance in recent weeks, your Site of the Night is an article by John Heyman at SI.com, talking about; of course, Hank’s disappointment with the team, as well as the possibility that a Yankees version of Family Feud is going to erupt before the season is finished.

Until next time, remember:

Supergirl is hot.

And she has an oral fixation.  Look at how happy she is to be holding that sucker.  Watch how she holds it, carressing it between her soft, smooth fingers, smiling widely before she takes it to her lips and…

I have to go now.

Ken Griffey Jr. Pays His Debts…With Pennies

May 16, 2008 By: rock Category: MLB, Rants, Video 1 Comment →

Griffey paid back the 1500 bucks that he owed Josh Fogg which is good. It’s always good to pay your bets.

It’s not always good to pay them in pennies, which Griffey did.

Oh well, you know what they say, “pennies is like dollars”, only they’re worth less, they smell funny, and strippers get really, really pissed when you try to stick them down their g-string. “DING!”  I’ve got it! That’s the way to keep PacMan Jones out of the strip club!  Pay him in pennies!

Maybe that’s not such a good idea after all.  Pac might still try to make it rain, and in the process kill a half-dozen people.

Former Marlins All-Star’s Father Accused Of Molestation

May 14, 2008 By: rock Category: MLB, Non-Sports No Comments →

No humor here, just disturbing allegations coming out of Florida.

The father of former Marlins All-Star catcher Charles Johnson has been arrested and accused of molesting two girls ages 12 and 16 who are students at the school where he coaches baseball and teaches math.  According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel:

Fort Pierce Westwood High School math teacher and baseball coach Charles Edward Johnson Sr., 55, has been charged with lewd and lascivious molestation, according to the reports.

Johnson has been the head baseball coach at Westwood for 24 years, first from 1979 to 1994 then from 2002 to this past season. Westwood has been to the state finals once during Johnson’s tenure, back in 1988 when the team finished 21-9 and were beaten by Tampa-Plant in the Class 3A championship game, 12-2.

The family is not commenting and Johnson is denying the claims that have been made against him.  It’s too early to say much about this, so I’ll reserve angry “chop someone’s head off” comments until later, but stories like this one do not have happy endings for anyone involved.  Either he did it, and committed the worst crime that a teacher can commit, or he has had an accusation attached to his name that will probably be permanently attached to him for the rest of his life.  Either two children’s lives have been harmed, or one man’s name has been slandered.

Not good either way that it turns out.

His son, Charles, played for his dad in high school and had a successful  career with the Marlins, Dodgers, Orioles, White Sox, Rockies and Devil Rays.

The Goose is loose. Goose Gossage, one of the best closers in the history of baseball, had some words of warning for the Yankees and especially set-up phenom Joba Chamberlain. Gossage says that it’s time for the excitable Joba to calm down and chill out with all the antics. Gossage talks about the difference between players today and in the past, and also expresses his displeasure at the way that hitters are protected today. Until next time, go eat some cereal; fools.

One Man Gang-Asdrubal Cabrera Makes Unassisted Triple Play

May 13, 2008 By: rock Category: MLB, Video No Comments →

Probably one of the most unimpressive impressive plays that I have ever seen.

It’s plays like this that can only be described by one word: Neat.

Talk about right place, right time. I’ve had chicks use more energy in turning me down for sex, than Cabrera used on that play.
