Former UFC “The Ultimate Fighter” contestant, Kalib Starnes was released from UFC after spending the majority of Saturday’s fight with Nate Quarry, running around the ring like a little bitch. That’s the technical name for the medical condition that Starnes suffers from by the way, “Bitchism”, be careful, it is contagious.

According to Yahoo:

It wasn’t such a good night, though, for Kalib Starnes, who spent most of the evening running from Nate Quarry in their middleweight bout. A native of Surrey, B.C., Starnes was booed heavily by the Canadian crowd that had been boisterous in its support of all the other Canadians on the card.

After losing a unanimous decision on scores of 30-26, 30-27, and an unheard-of 30-24, Starnes received even worse news: He was cut from his contract by UFC president Dana White.

“He just doesn’t belong in the UFC and after his performance the other night, he should consider a new line of work,” White said Monday.

If making like the San Diego Chicken wasn’t bad enough, Starnes also let loose a homophobic blast at members of Quarry’s corner, when they implored him to stand and fight.

According to TMZ, UFC legend and former WWE Superstar, Ken Shamrock is suing the UFC for what he believes is failure to honor their contract with him for another fight and effectively keeping him from making a comeback in MMA. According to TMZ:

In a lawsuit filed in Nevada, Shamrock claims after a controversial fight against Tito Ortiz in early 2006, which Ortiz won, defendant ZUFFA, a parent company to the UFC, made a two-fight deal with Shamrock. Under the deal, Shamrock would fight Ortiz again. Shamrock also agreed to yet another fight with someone else, but he had the option of not fighting the second fight in the deal if he chose to retire after the Ortiz bout.

Shamrock got the T-Total hell beat out of him in the Ortiz fight if you remember, and if you don’t, here you go:

Shamrock was once called “The World’s Most Dangerous Man”.  Now he’s turned into UFC’s Evander Holyfield, and is just begging for someone to let him get back in the ring so that he can damage himself further.  Sad.

Tito Ortiz so missed his calling in life.  He picked the wrong ring to star in.  As great as a MMA fighter this guy has been he should have joined the Vince McMahon circus a long time ago and he would more that likely be one of their biggest stars.  Why?  He’s athletic, got a good look, has trashy taste in women, and most importantly, his mouth never stops running.  Here’s Tito, with his opinion on Dana White, Kimbo Slice, and whether or not he is “retired”.

Anderson Silva is a badass, and in case you didn’t know; now you know.  The first round of this fight was close, but in the second round Silva went through Dan Henderson like he was an afterthought.

Since I had to take the last round down here’s some video of Silva spazzing out instead:

Big fight tonight for the UFC tonight at UFC 82.  Middleweight Champion, Anderson “The Spider” Silva defends against Dan Henderson who was the Pride Champion when Pride was purchased by UFC.  Silva is being groomed to become the face of UFC and you know that UFC main man Dana White is pulling for Silva to win this fight.  If the Pride guy comes in and knocks off your best guy it would have to feel like a kick in the nuts.  White is confident about Silva though, telling the LA Times:

“If Anderson walks through Dan Henderson, this guy is our Mike Tyson,” UFC President Dana White said this week.

If he’s talking about the Mike Tyson that used to scare other fighters until they peed their pants and fell down 30 seconds into the fight that’s a good thing.  If he’s talking about the Mike Tyson that raped beauty queens, bit people’s ears off, and threatened to eat children, then that’s a bad thing.
